As part of the original 1800's Tillinghast property in La Conner, this just-completed upstairs, two-master bedroom, two bath luxury apartment is being offered for vacation rental. Everything is brand new with the interior having been removed to the studs and remade as a high-end apartment with many upscale special features.

The kitchen features all Stainless Steel upscale appliances and quartz counter tops. One master bathroom includes tile floor, quartz vanity top, and separate soaking tub and ceramic tiled shower. The second ensuite bathroom provides tile floor, quartz countertop vanity and a tiled stall shower. This apartment has high vaulted ceilings with up and down lighting throughout. The floors are covered with luxury carpet, and the interior colors add to an overall feeling of luxury and good taste.

The two Master bedrooms feature beautiful king beds with extraordinary Simmons Beautyrest "Heavenly" mattresses, as seen in the highest-end hotels. Fine linens and towels are provided to match.

To complete the luxury feel, this apartment is fully air conditioned and all walls and windows are insulated for interior quiet. All windows have shades and the bedrooms have blackout curtains for your pleasure and privacy. The Ultra HD smart 55" television will keep you entertained at night. But the real fun will include a walk to La Conner's iconic downtown.

The best kept secret!

Vacation Date: November 2021

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway before we head into the holidays and life gets crazy. We have always loved swinging through La Conner for a bite to eat, and we decided this time to make a long weekend of it. We are HOOKED! La Conner itself is unbelievably charming with its little shops and delicious local restaurants, but it was our stay at The Tillinghast Residence E that made it so hard to leave. We have already decided we will be back every 2-3 months next year and I cannot wait to book our first return trip. Thank you NW Island Escapes for opening up this beautiful property for others to enjoy, and for thinking of every last detail to make us feel right at home. I am usually always ready to return home after a trip, but this time I felt so much at home that it was sad to pack up and leave our new favorite spot. We look forward to being back in early 2022!

Felt safe during covid

I had a significant birthday this year and had planned to go to France but covid blocked me.... then we found your listing in La Conner and it was a perfect get away.. we had EVERYTHING we needed in a great location with groceries nearby and a nice 5 minute walk to the town proper... it was perfect

A fantastic apartment to stay. We stayed here for our daughters wedding. And has plenty of room to enjoy for 2-4 people. Everything is top notch from customer service to the bedding and all the amities this unit provides. It has all the comforts of home. The only con is the amount of stairs to this unit. Its hard for people with knee issues or older people. Excellent location to downtown and local businesses. Would highly recommend this place for any occasion.

My Husband, our gentle greyhounds and I all had a good vacation in La Conner. The unit was clean and up to date. We were so comfortable there whether it was morning coffee before our day adventures or talking around the table to friends who stopped by. My dogs and I liked the enclosed carpeted stairway for the entry. The carpet was good so they never slipped once. Beds comfortable. All questions were quickly answered by staff. Did I mention the convenient location? We ate at local walkable restaurants every night. Checking and checkout was a breeze. We loved this place and will return!

Lovely apartment

Three of my friends and I met at in La Conner where we talked, laughed and played games together over the weekend. We were very comfortable in our vacation getaway. The property description is completely accurate. It was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. We had a nice meal at the bistro in the same building and enjoyed the shopping and sights in La Conner. The weather cleared for perfect viewing of the daffodil and tulip fields. We hope to meet in the same comfortable and convenient apartment in the future.

Modern comfortable loft

We were very comfortable and were able to walk to restaurants. Seeds and COA were both very good! The beds were great and enjoyed all the different pillows to choose from! Only issue was one window at top of stairs was off its track so it let in some cold air which really wasnt a big deal since it was far away from sitting area. We will definitely return and recommend it to our friends.

Thanks so much for your positive review. We have addressed the window closure issue and it has been appropriately repaired. We appreciate the feedback as our desire is to eliminate anything that isn't quite right. It seems everyone loves the beds in our two La Conner VR apartments. The reason is that they are the "Heavenly Bed" Simmons mattresses used by a luxury hotel chain. Please come back and enjoy La Conner again now that the weather is improving!

Tillinghast Seed LaConner Christmas vacation

We have a fabulous time! Very accommodating, comfy and clean. The location was perfect. The only issue we had was that the front door did not latch, so we had to push up on the door. We were used to this as we also live in an old home & have to do the same thing from time to time when the weather gets cold. Would rent this place again, no doubt about it!

happy but NOT happy

our second day there our heater stopped working and it got very very cold in the apartment (December). I called john and hand full of times and he did try to help out but I had to spend a lot of time trying to take care and figure out the heater which I could not. He had someone else come to help but they couldn't fix the problem either. In the end he switched us to another room which was one a single room. we had to pack up with two little cold kids and move rooms...I received a $10 credit which I think should have been quite a bit more. So much time spent dealing with the heater, room change from a double to s single. it really tool a lot of time away from our visit and from my kids:( I think there should definitely more of a reimbursement then $10.

Great Condo

Who ever designed and decorated this this condo did a FANTASTIC job!
For me its all about the beds, (comfort and linens) and they were great.
Simple but tasteful decorations A kitchen stocked with all the things you need to prepare a meal plus dishes, glassware etc to set a lovely table
Very clean, short walk to town (3 Blocks) and a spa and restaurant in the same building!
Rental company very detailed oriented, welcoming and cooperative.
