La Conner, Tillinghast Residence A #400

The Tillinghast Residences are the bestof the best! This is our sixth stay this year to one of these residences and they are all wonderful. This was our first stay in Unit A and we were once again delighted. Large, beautiful space, so clean, accommodating, and not a single detail was missed. I cannot recommend this unit, or any of these units, enough - they are an absolute treasure in the darling community of La Conner.

My husband and I and our 6-year-old grandson stayed here for a few days to explore the Deception Pass area and La Conner. The bedroom and bathroom are separated by a door from the main living area, and there is a guest bathroom at the top of the stairs when you first enter. My husband enjoyed reading his book in peace while my grandson and I watched his shows and played games. The king-size bed was comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped, bring your own spices.

The small(limited) grocery store is a short 2 blocks away and if you continue your walk for a few more blocks you will reach La Conner's boardwalk on the Swinomish Channel. Unfortunately, due to COVID and the time of year (Dec), nearly all of the shops were closed, but we still enjoyed our walk.

We went to nearby (18 min) Mount Vernon to shop at Walmart and Safeway to stock up with groceries and supplies for our stay here and our next accommodation through the new year in Langley, Whidbey Island.

The vacation home was an awesome experience. Very cozy, comfy and clean.

This is a very enjoyable unit and the property owner very responsive. The unit is clean, a 4-block walk to La Conner and quiet. My only concern was the bed comforter was too heavy for this time of year. I guess if that is all the bad I have to say, it's a great place to stay. Too bad it is going to condominiums.

Easier to find then you would expect and centrally located to the area! We Island hopped the Orca's and took up the local fare which was wonderful and geared to entertain visitors with local attractions and fine dining! All the comforts of home but upscale, the Tillinghast accommodations were superb! I was sorry to be ending my stay so quickly by the 5th day and well served three persons adequately!

Wonderful apartment. Perfect for my husband and I to take a mini vacation close to home, but still far enough away to feel relaxed. The kitchen has great appliances. Enough pots and pans to make any meal. Washer and dryer in house was very useful. And the BED was heaven! Sheets and duvets were lovely.

High end on everything. Would stay there again and again.

We love this property. Everything in the rental is top notch. The location is amazing. This is our 3rd time staying in one of the units and we will definitely be returning soon.

The apartment was really top notch. Beautifully appointed from the kitchen to the bedroom. (Fantastic pillows!). Our only issue was kind of a perfect storm- when we realized that we did not have the code to get in on Christmas Eve, there was NO response from Vacation Ventures to fix that rather large problem. We found other accommodations for one night and enjoyed the rest of the week!

This unit is very new, clean, in the perfect location and well appointed. Very comfortable unit, large, with fluffy white towels and cozy sheets. It is on the same property as a really good restaurant and across the street from a coffee shop (there is a coffee maker and coffee, but nice to have). I would absolutely recommend it and will come again!

We loved this condo. Everything was top notch. Great location, walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We did wish that more cable channels were available besides local stations and Tivo. Other than that we had a great stay and already booked the 2 bedroom for Oct.

Comfortable, private, clean, large and beautifully decorated with all needed amenities. So close to shops and restaurants that you can leave your car parked and walk everywhere. We would definitely stay again. If stairs are an issue for you, you might have a problem. This condo is on a second floor and there are a lot of stairs. No elevator. Lovely place!
